Jeremiah 29:11

He knows the plans He has for me:
To help and not hold back,
Bring life to the hopes He's placed in my heart
and bless me for all of time.

My Father has good plans for me,
To strengthen and beautify,
My Jesus might be reflected in me
and heaven on earth be mine.

if you have sung the 23rd psalm to the same music i do, well thats the tune i wrote these words to go with.
i often sing to calm my spirit, i'm wondering if you do the same and i'm thinking that if i was you i'd be singing constantly right now

love to you

K,
music is the window to the soul. And if you've noticed the songlist change on my blog, you would see that my soul very clearly right now. Almost every song on that playlist speaks to me in volumes. I love to sing, Kylie. Singing is something that I will keep doing. Thank you,
You are such a special woman.

I talk to myself and sing all the time. I love this comment page and the "song." Cece, you're going to be okay. Kylie, thanks for this one. Beautiful. It probably helped me more than Cece!!! In fact Cece's playlist probably helped me more than it helped Cece!!!

XO to all

Woah trippy. I bloghopped over here from CSI Seattle (been following this "bold if you done it" meme that I'm going to jump on the bandwagon for one of these days).

I literally just wrote this passage into the novel I'm writing for NaNoWriMo (how I originally bloghopped over to you in the first place through a new NaNo buddy).

Very very cool indeed.

Please pray that I keep my faith strong and ever stronger.

Bless.

I'm lost here. The actual verse reads: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future," so is it the case that you (or someone else) wrote the second part as a reflection based upon that verse?

I also see that this is the only post that got comments, and it's ten years old, so I'm assuming that I'm a member of a select group--thank you.

Snow,
It is, indeed a reflection on the bible verse. I wrote it to sing to the tune called Crimond.

I used this blog with a different focus ten years ago and then people lost interest and it fell into disuse for a long period. This was the one post that I really wanted to keep so it is here as a way of storing that long ago bit of creative flow.

The blog is publicly available but you are the only person I have invited to read it, most people are just not interested

As my father would say, "Isn't that just one hell of a note." I mean, really, here you are, a Christian, posting reflections about your religion, and few if any Christians are interested, but I, an atheist, am! I guess that if you really wanted readers, you could make a post on your other blog and reference this blog.

I've never heard of the song you mentioned. If it's religious, nearly all of my knowledge of religious songs is of gospel hymns from the Fanny Crosby era.
